Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney

Located in tigard, OR

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join a growing legal team. This position will represent employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters, providing strategic legal guidance, managing case files, and advocating for clients throughout the claims process.

Job Duties

• Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims and litigation.
• Manage a caseload from initial claim review through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate regularly with clients, claims adjusters, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
• Analyze medical records, employment records, and claim documentation.
• Provide legal advice regarding claim exposure, settlement options, and litigation strategy.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet all deadlines and compliance requirements.
