Why This Role – Senior Accounting Manager:

A dynamic and growing Kalispell-based organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead critical areas of their finance team. In this high-impact role, you’ll manage the month-end close process, oversee Accounts Receivable and Credit functions, and play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the company. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled accounting leader ready to step into a strategic and influential position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)

• Manage year-end and internal audit processes

• Oversee all functions of Accounts Receivable including collections, aging, account setup, and cash application

• Support complex AR issues and coordinate with legal/collections when needed

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for team members

• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive team culture

• Implement process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency

• Align financial operations with organizational objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Stay current with accounting regulations and industry best practices

• Contribute to special projects and strategic company initiatives

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Proven team leadership and mentorship abilities

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable and Credit management

• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation

• Familiarity with Sage software (a plus)

• SQL experience (a bonus)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Positive, team-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

• Bonus: 10% annual performance-based

• Location: 100% onsite in Kalispell office
