Maintenence Mechanic

Salary: $28-$33/hr DOE

We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Sherwood. Job Duties: Installs, repairs, modifies and maintains all mechanical, electrical and electronic systems on production machines and facility equipment by performing the following duties: Perform all scheduled periodic maintenance tasks outlined on the Periodic Maintenance and Inspection Charts. Be knowledgeable in the start up sequence and basic operation of all production machinery CNCs, NCs and manual machines to isolate malfunctions, test systems or verify repairs. Install machinery which encompasses conduit, hydraulic piping, air lines and subassemblies. Also leveling of the machine, initial power up, systems checkout and operation. Diagnose, isolate and repair CNC, NC, and manual machine malfunctions. Utilize all functions and capabilities of an Oscilloscope, Digital Volt Meter and various test equipment provided. Remove, repair and replace machine components that are mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic or are a combination of these. Perform software loading procedures of Executive Program paper tapes and/or disks on all CNC Machines. Design, test, document and implement hardware modifications to machines that require upgrading to meet electrical code or will provide an increase operating efficiency. Maintain organization of all machine operating and maintenance documentation on file. Also update electrical schematics, mechanical prints, maintenance manuals and Inspection Charts whenever any physical or procedural changes are made to the associated equipment. Requisition parts, complete the necessary paperwork, and work closely with the manufacturers of production machinery and the vendors of machine parts utilized at the company. Minimize machine downtime through the efficient utilization of time and available resources. Able to work closely with and communicate effectively to a diverse range of personality types. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm Pay: $28-33/HOUR
