Packer - Paragould

Job Duties: 

• Physically packing inventory by hand into the appropriate sized shipping boxes or containers
• Mark and label shipping boxes or containers and labels using marking tools 
• Examine count products, materials, and shipping boxes or containers to ensure that packing specifications are met 
• Count products 
• Examine and inspect shipping containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met 
• Record product, packing and order information on items 
• Remove defective product and materials and replace them 
• Pad cartons with appropriate tissue and fillers
• Clean work order, replace supplies as needed 

Requirements: 

• Previous packing in warehouse environment 
• Able to stand in one spot for long periods of time 
• Able to bend, squat, sit, climb, stand
• Able to lift, push, pull, carry weights up to 50 pounds occasionally 
• Use basic hand tools and hand pallets for loads exceeding carrying weight 
• Able to work in heat during the summer - position is not climate controlled 

Hours: 7:30am to 4pm Monday - Friday with Mandatory OT as needed including Saturdays.
