Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before scheduled appointments.
• Review insurance benefits, coverage limits, deductibles, and copayments.
• Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage and resolve questions.
• Obtain and verify referrals and prior authorizations when needed.
• Update patient records with accurate insurance and billing information.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers regarding insurance coverage and requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation while protecting confidential patient information.
