Material Yard Manager

We are seeking a dependable and organized Material Yard Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy yard environment. In this role, you will manage inventory, coordinate material flow, and lead a team to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on leadership, staying active, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Duties:

• Oversee daily yard operations including receiving, storing, and distributing materials
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of all materials
• Supervise and support yard staff, assigning tasks and maintaining productivity
• Coordinate loading and unloading of materials with drivers and vendors
• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times
• Inspect materials and equipment for quality and maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard environment
