Dental Insurance Verification and Processing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Dental Insurance Verification & Processing Clerk to support a busy dental office team. In this role, you will verify patient insurance coverage, process claims, and ensure accurate billing information to keep operations running smoothly. Duties Include:

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
• Contact insurance providers to confirm coverage details and obtain pre-authorizations
• Process and submit dental insurance claims accurately and timely
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and post payments correctly
• Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate patient insurance records in the system
• Communicate clearly with patients and office staff regarding coverage and billing questions
