Insurance Claims Customer Service Representative

We're hiring an Insurance Claims Customer Service Representative for a third-party insurance claims administrator specializing in alternative healthcare providers, including chiropractic, naturopathic, and massage therapy claims.

This position combines customer service, claims support, and administrative responsibilities. You'll primarily handle inbound calls from healthcare providers, assist with claims-related questions, verify member eligibility and benefits, and complete follow-up research and documentation. The call volume is steady but manageable, allowing you to focus on providing quality service rather than rushing through high-volume calls.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from healthcare providers regarding insurance claims
• Make outbound follow-up calls to providers and members as needed
• Verify member eligibility, benefits, and claim information
• Manage the claims department phone queue
• Research claim inquiries and resolve issues
• Document all customer interactions accurately
• Process and organize faxes, mail, and other claim-related correspondence
• Maintain accurate records within the claims management system
• Provide professional customer service while ensuring confidentiality
