Wire Rope Rigger – Full Time

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $18/hour Location: Jefferson, LA 

Screenings: 5‑panel drug test & background check required

Dress Code: Work pants, plain T‑shirt, steel‑toe shoes (safety glasses provided)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wire Rope Rigger with a strong background in warehouse operations and material handling. This role involves pressing wire rope, preparing rigging materials, and supporting operations related to crane‑ready assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Press, cut, and assemble wire rope using grinders, cutters, and torches

• Handle rigging materials used for crane operations

• Operate sit‑down forklifts safely and efficiently (no stand‑up or high‑reach equipment required)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with wire rope, rigging, or industrial material handling

• Proficiency with grinders, cutters, torches, and related tools

• Ability to operate sit‑down forklifts

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work full‑time, including Saturdays
