Contract Recruiter

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $30/hr

An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their team on a contract basis.

Recruiter Highlights:

• Manage recruitment for approximately 40 openings across technical and professional roles, including Senior Engineers, Cable Technicians, Security Installation Technicians, Radio Technicians, Marketing Representatives, and Supply Chain Managers
• Write and polish job descriptions and job postings
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, cold calling, and other channels to build a strong pipeline
• Work with hiring managers to confirm role requirements and give feedback on candidate fit
• Screen candidates virtually and meet them in person
• Coordinate 2–3 interviews per role with hiring managers
• Post jobs and download resumes in UKG
• Perform additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous recruitment experience
• Technical or trades recruiting experience is an asset
• Proven sourcing skills on LinkedIn
• Comfortable making cold calls
• Proficient in MS Office
• UKG experience is an asset; training provided
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of openings at once
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English

Hours & Wage:

• Monday - Friday 
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day from home
• $30.00/hour
• 3–6 month contract
