A leading steel manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Table Operator to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and has hands-on experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of CNC plasma table experience and be comfortable creating and managing nests utilizing nesting software. Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Overtime available based on production needs
• Temp-to-Hire

Pay

• $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Oxygen Plasma Table equipped with a Hypertherm Edge Controller.
• Set up and run plasma cutting operations on carbon steel plate, primarily A36 material.
• Create, modify, and optimize nests using nesting software.
• Interpret production drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and productivity.
• Load and unload steel plate materials safely.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to meet customer deadlines and production schedules.
• Follow all company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a CNC Plasma Table.
• Experience creating and editing nests using nesting software is required.
• Experience working with Oxygen Plasma cutting systems.
• Familiarity with Hypertherm controllers is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of measuring tools and quality standards.
• Experience working with steel plate up to 2 inches thick preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production environment.
