Our client in West Branch, IA is looking for a 1st Shift Lumper!

 

Position Summary: Our client is seeking a dependable Lumper to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This position involves loading and unloading tires and automotive parts, stocking inventory, using scanners to locate and put away tires, and assisting with inventory control. This is a physically demanding position requiring consistent lifting, pushing, and extended periods of standing and moving throughout the shift.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and stock tires and automotive parts
• Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
• Perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when handling commercial tires
• Push barrels and industrial or agricultural tires using up to 40 pounds of force
• Remain on your feet and actively moving for extended periods
• Work overtime as needed
• Follow all safety policies and operating procedures
• Perform other job-related tasks and follow job-related instructions given by the supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when handling commercial tires
• Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following operating procedures

 

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Some overtime as needed

 

Pay:

• $20/hour
