Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Days Off: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Technician to inspect products, monitor production processes, and ensure that all products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and report quality issues to maintain product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• PURPOSE - To establish requirements and duties for Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician

• EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  Bachelor Degree in Science, Biology or Chemistry preferred or 5 years prior experience.
  One year of college level Chemistry is strongly recommended.
  They must be familiar with standard laboratory practices including safety and aseptic
  sampling.
  They must be familiar with basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, as well as
  web search for technical information.

• DUTIES
  Aseptic sampling of incoming raw materials, including labeling, logging of lot numbers
  sampled.
  Maintaining a current sample inventory for sales samples, including all supporting
  documentation.
  Write and update specifications, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Certificate of
  Analysis (COA) for raw materials.
  Conduct routine tests on incoming samples including:
  FTIR analysis
  Organoleptic evaluation
  Arrange for independent laboratory testing of selected samples.
  Maintain laboratory supplies, including remote warehouse locations.
  Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical issues.
  Become familiar with USP, AOAC and associated test methods.

  Any other duties as assigned by company management

• Notes:
  Time allotment will be approximately 50% testing, 50% sample preparation, sample logging, data entry.
  Customer service may become an additional duty

• WORK LOCATION/HOURS
  This position is located at the company corporate office.
  The position is full time with hours as determined by management.
