Position Summary

This position is with one of our clients, at their Union, MO facility; Express is recruiting on their behalf. The Parts Washer cleans and degreases components between production steps, checks them for leftover oil, chips and residue, and stages them for the next operation.

Shift	1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)
Pay	$16.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Load, run and unload parts washers to clean and degrease components between production steps.
Remove oil, coolant, chips and residue by hand with brushes, air and approved solvents as needed.
Inspect cleaned parts and re-run anything that does not meet the cleanliness standard.
Stage, rack and move clean parts to the next operation without damage or recontamination.
Check wash solution levels and temperatures; drain, refill and clean out tanks on schedule.
Record wash counts and lot numbers, and handle used solution and waste per client procedures.
Keep the work area clean and follow all client safety, chemical handling and PPE rules.

Required qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
Able to follow written and verbal work instructions and keep simple production records.
Comfortable working around water, cleaning chemicals and repetitive hands-on work.
Reliable attendance; willing to work overtime. Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Conditions and Pay

Stand for a full shift; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
$16.75 per hour
