Job Title: Skilled Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry, construction, installation, and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, the ability to read blueprints and measurements, and experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, and install wood, drywall, and other construction materials.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

• Build, install, and repair structures, frameworks, doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.

• Perform framing, finish carpentry, trim work, and general construction tasks.

• Install flooring, baseboards, molding, and other building materials as needed.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and properly.

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

• Work with contractors, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and additional construction duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in professional carpentry or construction required.

• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and construction practices.

• Ability to read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and perform basic calculations.

• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.

• Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and climb as required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.

• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and construction procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and move materials, work at various heights, and perform physical tasks in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
