Hotel Housekeeper (Temporary)

Location: Richmond, VA
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule Options:

• Monday - Friday
  OR
• Thursday - Monday

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may finish earlier based on workload)
Assignment Length: Temporary, approximately 2-5 weeks

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers to join a team in Richmond, VA for a temporary assignment. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and restock room amenities.
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure quality, cleanliness, and identify any maintenance needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hallways, lobbies, and other public areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests when needed.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
