Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting customers, processing sales orders, and developing relationships with both current and former customers.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with customers, is comfortable on the phone, pays close attention to detail, and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous inside sales, customer service, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming customer calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide product information.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, product availability, pricing, and other inquiries.
• Make outbound calls to current customers to develop relationships, identify additional sales opportunities, and encourage repeat business.
• Contact previous and inactive customer accounts to re-establish relationships and identify opportunities to win back business.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems.
• Communicate customer requirements and order details with internal departments, including production and shipping.
• Follow up on quotes and inquiries to help convert opportunities into sales.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the sales process.
• Assist with resolving customer concerns and coordinate with appropriate team members when needed.
• Maintain organized records and follow established company procedures.
• Perform other sales and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous Inside Sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
• Customer-service oriented with a professional and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and comfortable making outbound sales calls.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and order-entry systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous inside sales, customer service, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
