$20–$25/hr DOE | Long-Term Temporary with Potential to Go Permanent

Looking for an accounting opportunity where you can take ownership of your work and become an important part of the team? We’re hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a company in Mills River, NC.

This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive and accurately apply customer payments from multiple sources, including mail, email, and EFT
• Maintain customer accounts and prepare credits and billings
• Review account balances and identify delinquent accounts
• Assist with collection efforts and resolve payment or account issues
• Prepare monthly customer billing
• Research discrepancies and help find solutions
• Assist with general accounting and administrative responsibilities
• Answer phones, scan documents, and provide information to team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of finance or accounting-related experience, preferably with a small to mid-sized company
• Previous Accounts Receivable, billing, or collections experience
• Experience working with an ERP system
  • MS Dynamics or SalesPad experience is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently while also being a team player
• Consumer products experience is a plus
