Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a growing Lafayette-area distribution and warehouse operation. This is a second shift position with consistent overtime opportunities due to rotating weekend coverage.

We are seeking dependable candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have strong administrative, data entry, and customer service skills. Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse office experience is highly preferred.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM to End of Day (typically 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Overtime on a regular basis

Pay

• $19.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Enter inventory and shipment information into warehouse management systems
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Prepare and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and related documentation
• Audit shipping and receiving transactions to ensure data accuracy
• Investigate and resolve shipment or inventory discrepancies
• Communicate inventory and shipment status updates to internal teams
• Maintain organized records, logs, and documentation
• Assist with training and supporting team members on shipping office procedures
• Provide administrative support to warehouse and shipping operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous office, administrative, or clerical experience required
• Shipping, receiving, logistics, transportation, or warehouse office experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to work rotating weekends and overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation required, as occasional travel between local facilities may be necessary
