Repair Technician / Mechanical Assembly

This position is fully trainable, but candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work. Repair Technician / Mechanical Assembly Highlights
- $18.50-$19.00/hr based on experience
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, occasional Saturday overtime
- Hands-on mechanical work with riding lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and battery-powered tools
- Paid training for mechanically inclined individuals
What You'll Do
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble riding lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment
- Strip equipment down to the frame and rebuild components as needed
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing equipment and computer software
- Power wash equipment, mower decks, and components
- Replace blades, steering components, gears, control boxes, and other mechanical parts
- Perform product testing and quality inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards
- Read service diagrams, technical manuals, and parts specifications
- Record repair information and testing results using computer software and Microsoft Office applications
- Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Learn and operate stand-up forklifts as needed
- Assist with training and supporting less experienced team members
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Experience working on vehicles, lawn mowers, motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, power equipment, or similar mechanical systems preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Consistent attendance and work history
- Forklift experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the shift

- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
