Express Employment Professionals is hiring three Overnight Manufacturing Fabricators for an established manufacturing company in High Springs.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a respected manufacturer serving the electrical, telecommunications and utility industries. The 2-2-3 schedule provides a predictable rotation, built-in overtime during longer workweeks and every other weekend off.

Schedule

Employees work from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule:

• Work two days, off two days

• Work three days, off two days

• Work two days, off three days

• Every other weekend off

• Approximately 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next

Candidates must be able to work the complete overnight schedule, including alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production-line startup and operation

• Set up and align machinery, tooling and production materials

• Monitor equipment and make basic adjustments as needed

• Troubleshoot production issues and notify leadership of equipment problems

• Inspect finished products visually and with measuring tools

• Verify that products meet quality and dimensional requirements

• Complete production and quality-control records accurately

• Package, label and prepare finished products for movement or storage

• Move completed materials to designated staging or storage areas

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

• Perform additional production duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, machine-operation or industrial production experience preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production machinery

• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices

• Strong attention to quality, safety and detail

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Willingness to learn multiple production processes

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of a 12-hour shift

• Regularly bend, reach, twist, kneel, push and pull

• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Work around moving machinery, vibration and normal industrial noise

• Work in varying temperatures and production conditions

• Wear required PPE throughout the shift
