We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work independently to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, replace, and maintain manufacturing equipment and components.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and maintenance-related projects.
• Fabricate and modify parts as needed using welding and other shop tools.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to support production goals.
• Operate a forklift to move equipment, materials, and parts safely throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding and basic fabrication techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment.
