Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local construction company for a General Labourer to join their fast-paced operation.

This is a hands-on construction support role suited to someone who enjoys working with tools, completing repairs, building and maintaining materials, and having a variety of duties throughout the day. We're looking for flexible candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable taking on different tasks as priorities change.

What You'll Do:

• Perform general labour, construction support, and maintenance duties
• Complete quality checks, repairs, and maintenance on steel and aluminum construction parts
• Perform light assembly and minor repairs
• Use hand and power tools including drills, grinders, routers, sprayers, hammers, and rivet guns
• Complete riveting and other basic repair work
• Scrape concrete from construction formwork
• Restack and organize construction materials and components
• Assist with painting and general maintenance
• Clean, inspect, and maintain construction parts and materials
• Identify parts and part numbers and complete accurate counts
• Maintain organized inventory of construction materials
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the workday
• Adapt to changing duties and priorities as required

What We're Looking For:

• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working with drills, grinders, hammers, rivet guns, and other tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable and committed to long-term employment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of construction-related tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
