About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Sanitation & Plant Production Associate (Rotating Shift) for a premier food manufacturing plant in Saint Louis, MO (63115).

This is a physical, high-overtime role that offers a direct path into the Baker's Union after 90 days. For your first 3 months, your primary focus will be plant sanitation, shoveling bulk material, and using high-pressure air hoses to blow down equipment. Shift Schedule & Overtime Details

• Heavy Weekly Hours: Log ~56 hours per week (earning up to 16 hours of overtime pay weekly).

• Days 1–45: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Thursday)

• Days 46–90: Day Schedule (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Thursday – Monday)

• Ongoing Rotation: After 90 days, you rotate between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts every 3 weeks.

What You Will Do

• Plant Sanitation: Use shovels, scrapers, and hand tools to clear grain dust and bulk residue into staging barrels.

• Equipment Blow-Downs: Operate high-pressure air hoses to blast fine dust off heavy machinery and plant framework.

• Material Handling: Lift, scoop, and move heavy raw materials across processing floors.

• Safety & PPE: Wear all required PPE, including a fitted respirator mask in high-dust areas.

• Plant Operations: Perform heavy manual work on an active, non-climate-controlled factory floor.

What You Need

• Steel-Toe Boots: Required on site starting day one.

• Physical Capability: Ability to handle continuous heavy lifting, shoveling, and standing in dusty plant conditions.

• Respirator Fit: Willingness and ability to wear a protective respirator mask during shift hours.

• Schedule Flexibility: Full commitment to rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), mandatory weekends, and heavy overtime.
