Warehouse / Delivery / Maintenance Technician

Location: Hammondsport, NY
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse / Delivery / Maintenance Technician to assist with warehouse operations, deliveries, vehicle maintenance, fabrication, and general building and grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities
  • Pull and prepare material orders for construction job sites
  • Load materials onto delivery trucks
  • Deliver materials to construction job sites
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and basic repairs
  • Perform fabrication and welding
  • Stock and organize shelves and warehouse materials
  • Assist with general building and grounds maintenance
  • Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and organized
  • Perform other general labor and maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Vehicle maintenance experience required
  • Fabrication and welding experience required
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience preferred
  • Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a New York State driver's license/background check
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
