We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver with a 1-C Hoisting License to join our dynamic transportation team. This position is being considered as a Direct Hire position.

Schedule: (M-F) Day shift

Pay Rate: $28 - 35/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers and flatbed or tanker trucks in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Drive across diverse routes, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight.
• Load and unload cargo safely using manual handling techniques and your hoisting license capabilities.
• Experience with Piggyback Moffet.
• Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
• Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols.
• Handle logistics cargo with precision, including freight inspection, securing loads, and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, and route driving with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Valid CDL A license combined with a 1-C Hoisting License for handling heavy loads.
• Experience
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation equipment.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle truck loading/unloading tasks manually.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
• Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures within the trucking industry.
