Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate
Location: Ashland, VA
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 /hr
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Customer Service & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Ashland, VA. This position combines customer service responsibilities with warehouse operations and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and providing excellent support to customers.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
- Process parts and service orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
- Pick, pack, and organize materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Experience with data entry and order processing
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required - up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
