Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join a busy moving and storage operation. This position is responsible for receiving furniture and household items coming in from moves, carefully staging orders, taking photos, entering information into the computer, and keeping the warehouse organized.

 

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect furniture and household items from incoming moves
• Take pictures and document items accurately
• Enter inventory and move information into the computer
• Stage and organize orders for upcoming deliveries
• Load, unload, move, and position furniture and other items
• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Follow proper handling and safety procedures

Requirements

• Warehouse, moving, furniture, or material-handling experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer for data entry
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Able to lift and move furniture and household items
• Dependable and ready to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
