Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 (Based on experience)

 

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced FRP Manufacturing Operator to perform fiberglass and composite manufacturing processes, including lay-up, resin application, curing, trimming, finishing, and gel coat spraying.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare molds and perform fiberglass lay-up and resin application
• Trim, finish, and inspect finished products
• Follow work orders, build specifications, and production schedules
• Safely handle fiberglass, resins, gel coat, and production equipment
• Identify and report defects or production issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience with boat manufacturing, bathtub manufacturing, autobody repair or similar fiberglass/composites environments required. 
• 2+ years of fiberglass and/or gel coat spraying experience is preferred
• 1–3+ years of manufacturing or composites experience preferred
• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools
• Ability to safely work with chemicals and required PPE, including respirators as applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around dust, odors, and temperature changes

• Demonstrates full proficiency across all FRP processes
• Troubleshoots production issues and supports process improvements
• Leads by example in safety, quality, and efficiency
• Assists with cross-training and serves as a floor resource
