Welder Fabricator

Located in Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $23.29/HR

Job Summary:

·       Operate reach truck, order picker, and walkie rider

·       Weld and fabricate metal components for mechanical products and assemblies

·       Layout, cut, form, and shape sheet metal using fabrication equipment

·       Set up and adjust welding/fabrication equipment; perform minor maintenance

·       Grind and finish welds and perform other welding duties as assigned

·       Operate material-handling equipment, complete production reports, and perform heavy lifting

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM

Pay: $23.29/HR

Qualifications: 

• Demonstrate ability to perform assignments pertaining to all phases of Electric Welding
• Reading and Comprehension skills
• Perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to use drawings and production prints for quality set up
• Must understand and comply Bills of Material
• Must understand blueprints, processing/work instructions
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in hot environments
• Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
