Apartment Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of a residential community. The ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance and a willingness to assist with a variety of property upkeep tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting as needed
• Complete basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and minor repairs
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including outdoor upkeep
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Assist with apartment turns and move-in/move-out preparation
• Ensure the property remains clean, safe, and attractive for residents and visitors
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and painting techniques
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day shift
• 8-hour shifts with an unpaid lunch break

Compensation

• Starting around $20.00 per hour
• Pay may be higher depending on experience and qualifications
