Harvest General Laborer – Seasonal

Job Type: Temporary / Seasonal Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour + Overtime Opportunities

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Harvest General Laborers to support grain receiving and handling operations during the busy harvest season. This is a hands-on, physically active position ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and are interested in earning additional income through overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the safe and efficient unloading of grain trucks.
Operate and monitor the grain dump pit and receiving operations.
Monitor grain flow and assist with grain handling activities.
Maintain clean and organized work areas by sweeping, shoveling grain, and removing debris.
Assist with grain handling equipment and other operational duties as needed.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support harvest operations.

Qualifications

Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Safety-conscious approach to all job responsibilities.
Ability to work extended hours during peak harvest periods.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Previous agricultural, warehouse, manufacturing, or grain-handling experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and use ladders throughout the shift.
Comfortable working around grain dust, moving machinery, elevated platforms, and varying outdoor conditions.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently for extended periods.

Schedule

Typical Schedule:

Monday–Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Overtime is expected and may be available during peak harvest periods.
