Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk for a local company in Valdosta, GA. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and supporting the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices.
  • Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on delinquent balances.
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end reporting activities as needed.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • $24.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

Required Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar systems.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable management.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
