Apprentice Plumber

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Apprentice Plumber for a local client! This is a great opportunity for someone with plumbing experience who wants to continue developing their skills while working alongside an experienced Journeyman Plumber on new construction projects.

Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Duties:

• Work alongside a Journeyman Plumber on new construction projects
• Install water lines, waste lines, and vent piping
• Assist with plumbing rough-ins and finish work
• Troubleshoot and correct plumbing issues as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all job site safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous plumbing experience required
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl frequently
• Comfortable working in various construction site environments
