Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support Accounts Payable operations. This position is responsible for reviewing invoices, processing vendor payments, maintaining supplier records, reconciling statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, highly organized, and experienced in accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
- Review purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and approvals to ensure accuracy before entering information into the accounting system.
- Process vendor payments through ACH, wire transfers, and monthly check runs while meeting payment deadlines.
- Reconcile vendor statements, employee expense reports, and accounts payable balances.
- Maintain supplier records, including banking information, tax documentation, payment terms, and remittance details.
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and accounts payable procedures.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Minimum of three years of Accounts Payable experience, including U.S. vendor accounts.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/general ledger software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow procedures, and meet deadlines.
