Manual Mill & Lathe Operator

Day Shift | $20–$25/hr, Based on Experience

We are seeking an experienced Manual Mill & Lathe Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on machining experience who is comfortable setting up and operating manual mills and lathes to produce quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes
• Machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper tolerances
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Previous manual machining experience required
• Experience operating manual mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications
• Comfortable using precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues

Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: $20–$25/hr, based on experience
