Duties for the Welder are:

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication tasks across a variety of projects, working with structural steel and pipe to produce quality welds that meet ASME Code Section 9 standards and customer specifications.

• Blueprint Reading & Fitting: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fit, align, and assemble structural steel and pipe components, ensuring precision and quality at every stage of the fabrication process.

 

 

Requirements for the Welder include:

• Welding Experience & Certifications: Prior experience as a Welder, Fabricator, Pipe Fitter, or Boilermaker required, with hands-on MIG welding and structural welding experience, trades school or ASME coursework strongly preferred.

 

Technical Knowledge:

• Must be proficient in blueprint reading and knowledgeable in structural steel and pipe fitting, specifically in accordance with ASME Code Section 9 standards.

 

 

Physical Capability & Reliability:

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and sustain physically demanding work including prolonged standing, bending, and crouching throughout the shift in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
