Crate Assistant

Located in Canon City, CO

Salary: 18.00

Perform all Assistant level assembly tasks including the following:

1. Assist in measuring, layout, and cutting of packaging material.
2. Assist operator in the fabrication of crates and skids for all product lines for secured shipping.
3. Read and exercise QC packaging Final Checklists to ensure proper packaging of all required components.
4. Cross train in two different production positions at the basic level (additional areas such as Fabrication, Belt, Paint, and Assembly).
5. Operate material handling cranes and other lifting devices as required.
6. Perform duties within the company safety programs standards to maintain accident-free working conditions.
7. Apply your initiative through empowerment to participate in continuous improvement opportunities, including your active participation in LEAN practices and LEAN events.
8. Comply with all company policies and procedures as required.
