We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crane Operator/Hole Man to join our warehouse team. This vital role involves operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment to facilitate safe and efficient lifting, material handling, and site operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of crane operation, rigging procedures, and construction workplace safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining a focus on safety, precision, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other lifting equipment in accordance with load handling procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with rigging, load securing methods, and materials handling to ensure safe transportation and placement of materials.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related equipment to identify potential issues before use.
• Follow established safety protocols and OSHA safety standards at all times during operations.
• Coordinate with team members to execute lifting plans accurately while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain proper documentation of equipment usage, inspections, and safety checks.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by safely loading and unloading materials on construction sites or warehouse facilities.
• Adhere to construction site safety regulations and implement best practices for heavy equipment operation.
• Assist with general site duties as needed, including material movement and site cleanup.

Experience

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, or similar heavy machinery in construction or warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of load handling procedures in crane operations and rigging techniques.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, lifting equipment maintenance, and materials handling processes.
• Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards related to heavy equipment operation.
• Prior experience working on construction sites or in shipping & receiving roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical knowledge related to cranes, hydraulics, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and operational accuracy.
