Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a dependable Press Operator for a well-established company in Frederick, MD.

This is a hands-on production position ideal for someone who is comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment. The Press Operator will assist with operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor press and production equipment
• Set up and prepare equipment for production runs
• Load materials and supplies into machinery as needed
• Monitor production to ensure quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
• Make basic adjustments to equipment as needed
• Follow production schedules and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Assist with other production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating, press operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around industrial equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Flexibility with scheduling based on production needs
