Temporary Quality Laboratory Technician (Month of September)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Laboratory Technician I to support laboratory operations in a quality assurance environment. This position is ideal for candidates with a basic understanding of chemistry who are interested in gaining hands-on laboratory experience. The technician will perform routine testing, document results, assist with quality control activities, and help maintain a safe and organized laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quantitative and qualitative testing following established laboratory procedures.
• Test incoming raw materials and finished products, including LOI, density, and sizing evaluations.
• Conduct production line quality audits and support quality assurance initiatives.
• Accurately record and enter test results into company databases and reporting systems.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and assist with equipment calibration.
• Collect, store, label, and route product and raw material samples as required.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry and laboratory practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Prior laboratory, manufacturing, quality control, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and moderately noisy production environments.
