Purchasing Analyst

Metal manufacturing facility in Dallas is adding a Purchasing Analyst to their team!!

Responsibilities include:

Review spending patterns, market pricing, and supplier performance metrics
Source new suppliers, vet product samples, and maintain vendor relationships
Negotiate favorable contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
Monitor stock levels and forecast future material needs using ERP systems
Generate cost reports and present data-backed purchasing recommendations to managers

Ideal candidates will have:

2+ years of experience evaluating vendor pricing, tracking spending trends, and managing supply chain data to help buy goods cost-effectively in a metal environment
A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
