Express Employment of Grand Junction is actively recruiting a Project Manager/Estimator for a long-standing Grand Junction construction company. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of earthwork and utility construction.  Construction Management degree preferred with 3 years of experience but not required.

Duties include:

• ·       Submittals and material procurement
• ·       Preparation of accurate and comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics and project specifications using tools such as B2W Construction estimating software
• ·       Develop detailed project schedules
• ·       Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and employees
• ·       Manage project documentation including change orders, RFI’s and progress reports
• ·       Monitor job site meetings.

Skills Include:

• ·       Strong computer skills
• ·       Knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore and Textura
• ·       Ability to develop realistic timelines for civil projects
• ·       Solid understanding of blueprint reading
• ·       Time management
• ·       Familiarity with construction management principles including safety protocols, quality control and site logistics.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have a working knowledge of earthwork and underground utilities

Prefer a bachelor’s degree, but will consider experience in lieu of.
