An established precision manufacturing facility is adding an experienced Manual Grinder to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Manual Grinder who takes pride in producing quality parts with extremely tight tolerances. If you enjoy working with metal components, precision measuring tools, and manual machining equipment, this Manual Grinder position offers challenging and rewarding work every day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate manual grinding machines to finish metal and stainless steel components to exact specifications
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot grinding equipment
• Work with engraver machines during production processes
• Perform precision measurements using indicators, micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
• Achieve tolerances as tight as .0005"
• Operate manual lathes and mills as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and various shop equipment
• Assist with forklift and overhead crane operation when required
• Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures
• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedules and deadlines
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area

Skills That Make You Stand Out

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Manual Grinder experience required
• Strong understanding of precision grinding techniques
• Ability to read and use measuring instruments accurately
• Experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and specifications
• Experience with metal coatings, metal repair, or part build-up processes is a plus
