Manufacturing Associate – Automated Production

Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating 12-Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Shift Rotation: Employees switch between day and night shifts every 8 weeks

Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Manufacturing Associate to join a growing production team in a modern, automated manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment, perform quality checks, handle materials, respond to equipment issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment

  • Operate and troubleshoot stacking robots, conveyors, case sealers, and stretch wrappers

  • Use HMI systems and manual methods to operate equipment

  • Monitor production flow and respond to machine and sorter alarms

  • Safely clear minor jams and reset equipment

  • Release and assign products to robot lanes and verify proper configurations

  • Accurately count, scan, and label finished products

  • Perform visual quality checks and identify/report product defects

  • Detect and report equipment abnormalities or changes in machine performance

  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, BOMs, diagrams, and other production documents

  • Keep production lines, equipment, and work areas clean and free of scrap and debris

  • Weigh, tag, record, and stage scrap and recyclable materials

  • Communicate work status with team members and leadership during shift changes

  • Work in various areas throughout the facility as needed

  • Follow all safety procedures, learned processes, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Equipment You’ll Work With

Employees may be trained to operate and work around a variety of automated, production, and material-handling equipment, including:

  • Stacking robots

  • Conveyors and palletizing systems

  • Case sealers

  • Stretch wrappers

  • Forklifts

  • Clamp trucks

  • Roll clamps

  • Industrial sweepers

  • Baling equipment

  • Stand-alone case printers

  • Packaging equipment

  • Compressed air systems

  • HMI systems

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Manufacturing, production, factory, assembly, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred but not required

  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Ability to read and understand production-related documents

  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and production records

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot basic problems

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and skills

  • Must be comfortable rotating between day and night shifts every 8 weeks

  • Must be willing to work overtime or a different shift when required
