CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $18.00 / hr - $30.00 / hr

Are you looking to build your skills in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills and lathes while producing quality parts according to engineering drawings and established machining processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as training progresses.

Job Summary

• Operate CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Perform basic part inspections and quality checks
• Follow work instructions and established machining processes
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure part quality
• Work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as training progresses

Experience Required

• Experience reading engineering prints/drawings preferred
• Basic inspection experience preferred
• CNC machining experience is a plus, but not required
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Dependable and willing to learn new skills

Location: Bloomington, IN

Pay: $18–$30/hour

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM
