Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating oven press and hot molding equipment to produce quality products according to production specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handling materials exposed to elevated temperatures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate oven press and hot molding machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials into molds and press equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of the work area.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, press operation, or molding experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
• Comfortable working around heat-generating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility environment.
• Exposure to warm temperatures from ovens and molding equipment.
• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fast-paced production setting with quality and safety expectations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
• 3rd Shift Schedule: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
