General Laborer – Roofing Paper Manufacturing Plant

Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Laborers for a local roofing paper manufacturing plant in Pryor, OK. This is a hands-on industrial position working around production equipment, raw materials, and finished roofing products.

We are looking for dependable employees who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with the production and processing of roofing paper and related roofing materials

• Load raw materials into production areas and move finished products as needed

• Monitor roofing paper as it moves through the production process

• Assist with handling, stacking, wrapping, and preparing finished rolls or products for shipment

• Remove scrap material and keep production areas clear of debris

• Perform general cleanup around machinery and production lines

• Help with machine setup, changeovers, and basic production tasks as directed

• Inspect finished materials for obvious defects or quality issues

• Use basic hand tools and other production equipment as assigned

• Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and plant safety procedures

• Work around industrial machinery, moving equipment, noise, dust, and manufacturing materials

• Assist machine operators and other production team members as needed

Physical Requirements

This is an industrial general labor position. Candidates should be prepared to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift

• Regularly lift and move materials

• Perform repetitive physical tasks

• Work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, cold, dusty, noisy, or dirty

• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear when required

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

• Have dependable and consistent attendance

• Have previous manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, or industrial experience — preferred, but not required

• Are comfortable working around large production machinery

• Take workplace safety seriously

• Can follow written and verbal instructions

• Have a strong work ethic

• Can work effectively as part of a production team

• Are willing to learn different areas of the plant
