Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Temporary Apartment Complex General Laborer for a local apartment community in Lexington, Kentucky. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming property, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The General Laborer will assist with a variety of property maintenance, cleanup, and groundskeeping tasks to help keep the community safe, clean, and attractive for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleanup of apartment grounds, common areas, and outdoor spaces
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
- Assist with apartment turns and preparation of vacant units
- Move materials, furniture, appliances, and supplies as needed
- Support maintenance staff with general labor duties
- Sweep, pressure wash, and maintain walkways and common areas
- Assist with light painting, landscaping, and property improvement projects
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous general labor, groundskeeping, maintenance, or apartment community experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
