Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (+Shift diff of 15%) + $1,000 Hiring Bonus
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-2:00am

Summary:
As a Caster / Foundry Worker, you will support foundry operations by preparing molds, handling molten aluminum, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality castings are produced safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work independently while meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, preheat, assemble, and inspect permanent and sand molds for casting operations, ensuring molds are free of defects.
- Operate furnaces and related equipment, monitor temperatures, melt metals, add alloys as required, and pour aluminum into molds according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and testing throughout the casting process, identifying and correcting defects to maintain product standards.
- Move materials throughout the foundry, maintain production records, and use hand tools to cut, shape, and finish cast components.
- Clean, maintain, and safely operate foundry equipment while keeping work areas organized and following all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Preferred minimum of one year of manufacturing, foundry, casting, or related experience; high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, rulers, scales, and measuring equipment accurately.
- Experience operating hand tools, foundry equipment, digital thermometers, and manufacturing machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; forklift experience is a plus and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
